How it all started...
We couldn't be more thrilled! God supernaturally called our England family to move to the Gunnison Valley to build The Rising Church and serve you and your family.
Hey there! I'm Pastor Mark (on the left), my beautiful wife "Pastor Joy" is in the middle, my eldest son Caleb is there in the back, my daughter Hannah is on the right, and you can see all my amazing adopted "littles," Josiah, Miriam, and Isaac.
2020 proved to be a year of hearing clearly from the Lord His heart for our town. We moved here in September of 2021 and have wholeheartedly embraced our new community. We are in awe of God's amazing provision of a 3-story building and all the incredible people that have decided to be a part of what God is doing at The Rising.
We currently meet Sunday mornings at 9:30 am for a time of worship and growing in the Word of God.

Expanding the vision...
We are eager to make an impact in Gunnison for the sake of the Lord Jesus. Community events have included July 4th - Burgers n Bounce Houses, Donuts & Coffee for Hot Air Balloon Liftoffs, "Easter in the Park" partnered with the American Legion, Antora Ranch Worship Night, and Gunnison Night of Lights to name a few!

Easter of 2023 we officially launched as a church!
